Smothering

I have a big opinion that more notice should be placed on domestic violence against men, but in this article I’m only saying that because the following isn’t just about women.

I’ve just come to realise how smothered I have been. I take full accountability of my issues but they often leave me in a very weak state of mind.

There are so many good people there to help but it’s hard realising some prefer you that way because I guess you are just more accessible, controllable, unable.

I think that some people believe if the other person grows to their true potential that they will outgrow them, so they keep them down, and that’s sad.
